A compelling brand story is not enough to move a product across borders. Buyers must assess the product, documentation, label, logistics and responsibilities in the destination market. The points below are general commercial guidance and do not replace market-specific legal advice.

1. Confirm the product and importer responsibilities

Align on classification, ABV, format, composition and the process details required by the market. Then establish which licensed party will act as importer of record, manage registrations, taxes and regulator contact. Requirements differ between the United States and individual European countries.

2. Review label, documentation and availability

Buyers should list the materials required: product specification, relevant testing, producer information, label artwork and packaging details. LATYCO will share documents only when they are complete and cleared for release. Volume and timing discussions should also reflect a realistic production plan.

3. Agree the commercial path

Before a first order, both parties should clarify market, channel, target customer, expected volume, samples, delivery terms, payment and ownership of each next step. A modest but clear plan is usually more valuable than a large commitment made while information is still incomplete.
